I love to try though!! ;) I've enjoyed doing canvas paintings with scriptures, as gifts, etc. I also like to sew. Of course I get through one project and I'm ready for another oh.....6-10 months later. I usually get all wrapped up in making one thing and then I over do it and get tired of the "work" involved. UGH. I have a link on my blog for the Tip Junkie and she always has cute ideas on her blog. Check it out!Meredithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09329785711861417819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-897703566630271722.post-36794644715913534162008-06-09T07:53:00.000-05:002008-06-09T07:53:00.000-05:00Your blog is so cute-- what about digital scrapboo...Your blog is so cute-- what about digital scrapbooking? It is on the computer instead of having to haul a bunch of stuff out! I have just started this and love it! My husband likes it too because we don't have to clear the table to sit down and eat!
BTW-- Those RED canisters are from a store super close to you (in Muleshoe) called Something Special. I got them a few years ago, but I know they still carried them last summer! Thanks for the sweet comments!kristi@ishouldbemoppingthefloorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10952122314233752120noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-897703566630271722.post-14966958977642691172008-05-30T14:13:00.000-05:002008-05-30T14:13:00.000-05:00You know....it was far easier than I thought it wo...You know....it was far easier than I thought it would be. It took me a while to get the basic stitch...but after that I picked up several other types pretty quickly. You can do a lot of cute and trendy scarves with that fringed yarn...so cute! I recommend getting a book...and maybe trying to find someone that could teach you the basic stitch. Or...just fly to Alaska and we can knit together! ha.DavitaJohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00824068921080868767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-897703566630271722.post-89057654650231311302008-05-29T23:12:00.000-05:002008-05-29T23:12:00.000-05:00I have totally been thinking about knitting... I taught myself the last time my mom was in the hospital from a book that I checked out from the library. And...as you are far craftier than I am...if I can do it...you can certainly do it!DavitaJohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00824068921080868767noreply@blogger.com
