Just so you know

I thought that I would check in to the blogging world for a minute. Thank you friends and family that have loved and supported me and my family these last few weeks. I hope you know that each little thought and prayer that you have lifted up for us has helped. I won't lie and say that I am ok, but I am getting better.

The memorial was wonderful. So many people came, it was quite a testimony to my mother and the love that she had for her friends and family. I loved getting to see family friends that have been in our lives forever. It was so kind of my friends who came. It was nice to have support there. I have great friends.

I am back home with my sweet husband in our little bitty apartment. Things were rough when I got here, but I have adapted back to my life here. I miss being around Momma's stuff more than I thought I would, but I have some things that I can put up here to help me.

Again, thank you for all of the support. My family and I couldn't have made it these last few weeks without all of the love. I have had meals, flowers, and plants delivered out here, and all the cards we have received are tender. We appreciate the love, and if she reads this, I really love my new polka dot rainboots! Some people really know how to make you smile!

Deedee,
Reagan and I talked about you over lunch on Wednesday. He was so sad to hear about your mom, but happy to hear that you and I are keeping up with eachother. We actually spent Thanksgiving with Reagan and his friends and had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner (complete with a 30 lb turkey cooked by Reagan...don't ask me how he did that!?!?) Hope you had a great holiday!

DeeDee--
I found your blog through Lauren's. I am so sorry for what you and your family are going through right now.
Lots of love and many prayers to all of you.
