It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Brandon and I decided to go ahead and decorate for Christmas, so while he worked late, I put up our tree. This tree is sad, we know, but I have gotten a little attached to it since we had it our first Christmas together. I am not in the mood to replace things right now. I hope that you are enjoying the holidays this year. I know the holidays will be hard, but I also know that the best part of the holidays is spending it with those that you love, and that will be a huge blessing to be surrounded by those that we love.

Here is our sweet tree. Momma coined it a "Charlie Brown" tree since you can see straight through it. The name has stuck... all we need to do is get Peanut ornaments!!! We don't have a fireplace, so the dvds are acting as a stocking holder this year.... hey, you do what you gotta do!)

There ain't no shame in a "Charlie Brown" tree!!! :) It is perfect! My whole childhood we had a ceder bush from the pasture that my dad cut down (usually from whatever pasture he found where a nice shaped bush could be spotted not too far from the road) for a Christmas tree. I'm telling you there AIN'T NO SHAME!!!! :) Wishing you a wonderful Christmas!

Merry Christmas, DeeDee! I think your tree is very sweet and very pretty! Everyone loves a Charlie. We still have our first tree, too! We put it in our playroom and my oldest son helped me decorate it with red paper chain and it is my favorite. It is indeed a Charlie, also. I can't bear the thought of parting with it. I know exactly how you feel.
I also need to know where you got that lamp! It is super cute!
